Bet on the Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp

When it comes to big Group 1 races that take place in France, there are none bigger than the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, with this famous race attracting horses from the United Kingdom and Ireland, especially with the vast amounts of prize money that are available to the winning connections.

The Arc traditionally takes place around early October and the racecard always illustrates that this is a high-class encounter where several serial Group 1 winners line up in the hope of making history at this famous track.

The Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is run over 1.5 miles, with this race having been in operation since 1920 and it’s been at home at Longchamp for the vast majority of the time, with any horse from the age of three or older being eligible to compete in this encounter.

Enable joined a select group of horses when landing a second victory in 2018 to follow on from her magnificent win in 2017, with Treve also scoring the same Arc double in 2013 and 2014, while there have been six other horses who have landed the same feat.

The Arc is the richest race on the turf when it comes to flat racing, with the prize money attracting the best horses and the qualification requirements are strict.
