Amelia’s Jewel recently returned to the race track when claiming a solid victory in the Sky Racing - W A Guineas on 19 November. Having been sent off as the odds-on favourite for this one mile encounter, the horse was able to win by just under a length and this win came after two previous victories at Ascot Racecourse.
On 19 March, there was a win in the Furphy - Gimcrack Stakes at favourite odds of 3/5, while another triumph occurred over six furlongs when winning the Amelia Park-Karrakatta Plate. However, this is the stiffest test yet for the favourite and perhaps Cascadian is worth considering instead.
This seven-year-old has plenty of tools in his locker and the seven-year-old ran a reasonably good race in the Kennedy Champions Mile over one mile on 5 November 2022.
