King George V Stakes 2027 Betting Odds
The King George V Stakes is going to be a competitive encounter over one mile and four furlongs, with a maximum of nineteen runners lining up in this Royal Ascot tussle. There's not much between the leading contenders in terms of price, although Lost Boys could be a quality contender and should run well for David Menuisier.

Heyzoom comes into the race with some good form and it would be no surprise if he went well for handler Owen Burrows. The same applies to Into The Light who also looks favourably handicapped, with Joulany being trained by Ralph Beckett and looking for a first win of the campaign. Aidan O'Brien's best chance could be in the form of Port Ferdinand.

Lost Boys could be a leading contender based on the fact that the horse has won the past three outings. The David Menuisier-trained charge was a winner at Haydock at the end of September when delivering as the 5/4 favourite over a mile. Better was to come at Sandown Park at the end of April when the charge obliged in a handicap over one mile and two furlongs.
The runner made a quick return to the track and was once again in the winners' enclosure when winning the London Gold Cup at Newbury Racecourse. The 100/30 chance performed well over one mile and two furlongs, with that being a third consecutive success. It's hard to crab the form of a horse who has the winning habit and an each-way wager could be in order.
Heyzoom could go off as favourite and will be near the bottom of the weights order. In the middle of May, there was a success as the 2/1 favourite over one mile and two furlongs. That came after a second-placed effort at Leicester. We're also a fan of Into The Light who has not been out of the first two in all of its races to date.
The Charlie Appleby-trained charge was able to score at Lingfield in the middle of February, with that coming before a return to the all-weather of Southwell where a second-placed spot was managed. The horse demonstrated an ability to perform well on grass when finishing runner-up at Sandown Park over one mile and two furlongs.
