2025 Qipco Conditions Stakes Betting Odds at Ascot racecourse

Saturday, 18 October 2025

The runners and riders are set for the British Champions Day Two-Year-Old Conditions Stakes on Saturday, with a maximum of thirteen runners now set to go to post. There’s a strong favourite in the form of Words Of Truth, with the horse running for Charlie Appleby. He’s produced some very smart performances already this season.

However, all the horses are relatively green and Division has also been in the winning habit this term. Mission Central could also be worthy of consideration and Aidan O’Brien’s charge is interesting from an each-way point-of-view. Sir Albert could also go well at a big price and it will be interesting to see how the betting market pans out on the day.

The second race on British Champions Day could be all about one horse. Words Of Truth looks like a worthy favourite when it comes to the Two-Year-Old Conditions Stakes. The bookies suggest that the runner has a greater than 50% chance to land a victory over six furlongs, having previously been successful in his last three races.

The latest effort came at Newbury on 20 September where the horse was able to score in the Mill Reef Stakes. William Buick was able to give him a tremendous spin and that came after an August success at Newmarket. That was in a novice stakes race, with the winning habit starting when the runner triumphed at Ascot in July.

Division has claimed three successive wins this term and could be a viable each-way alternative. William Haggas trains a two-year-old who was last seen recording a success at York in October. The 5/2 favourite won the Coral Rockingham Stakes and this came after a September win at Yarmouth, with the runner looking the part so far.

Mission Central was only midfield at Doncaster in a previous encounter when finishing sixth out of ten horses. It was a somewhat underwhelming performance in the Flying Childers Stakes although it came after a victory in the Round Tower Stakes. He was also able to beat a big field at the Curragh at the beginning of August and merits consideration.
