Nightline could certainly have the beating of her rivals and there's been a 50% success rate for a three-year-old filly. Her Oaks credentials have been underlined by four victories in the space of eight outings, with the latest effort being a win in the Golden Bracelet. This came after a solid third-placed showing in the Listed Princess Stakes and there could be a bold showing in this race.
Panova appears to be hitting form at exactly the right time. The 10/1 shot was able to score in a field of sixteen runners towards the end of April. Two weeks previously, the horse achieved a midfield finish at the same track.
Single Red was third out of seventeen runners at Ellerslie towards the end of February when running well over a mile and four furlongs. Andrew Forsman has seen his charge produce a number of other bright efforts and the bookies have installed the horse as one of the market leaders. Perhaps an each-way bet can be considered when it comes to this filly.
