Yabher began the season with a win for trainer William Haggas, with the four-year-old potentially a good each-way shout. Crown Of Oaks collected several wins last term and is another Haggas-trained contender. Castle Stuart has run heaps of times this season and perhaps that experience can stand him in good stead.

Noble Horizon might have turned a corner after a June effort at Leicester. The four-year-old simply had too much class for the rest of the field, with the horse securing a victory by over five lengths. It came in a handicap over a mile and two furlongs, with the runner previously struggling to make his mark. There was a second-last appearance at Lingfield Park in May although there had been a bright effort at York back in October.
Raammee is set to go off as favourite, with Roger Varian saddling a four-year-old who was also in the winners’ enclosure last time out. The July victory at York was impressive, with that coming in the John Smith’s Cup. There was previously a runner-up effort in a field of twelve horses at Sandown, with that coming after a disappointing effort at the same course in May.
Yabher has won three of his previous five efforts, with William Haggas saddling a horse who was off the pace at the Knavesmire last time out. Previously to this, there was an early May success at Goodwood when obliging in a handicap. That was a six-length win, with that coming after previously scoring at Newmarket in October.
Haggas also has Crown Of Oaks who was able to rack up the victories last season. That includes a one-mile triumph at Ascot back in October when the horse was able to win the Balmoral Handicap. It came after a bold run at the Curragh when finishing third out of twenty-one. However, there was a weak performance in the more recent Dubai Duty Free International Stakes.
