King Of Earth could be favourably weighted for the Coral Kincsem Heritage Handicap, with the horse aiming to continue the winning habit after back to back successes. The runner was impressive when finishing fourth in a field of twenty-five at Newbury back in April, with that coming in a one-mile maiden stakes. Then there was an early June success at Wolverhampton.
The William Haggas-trained charge was able to win a maiden stakes race on the all-weather track in the Midlands at odds-on, with a smart performance occurring in a competitive handicap at the Curragh. That was over a mile and a furlong, with Tom Marquand riding the horse to a one-length success on good ground and there could be more to come.
Sahara King achieved consecutive runner-up spots for trainer Richard Hannon during the month of May, with a second-placed effort occurring at Newmarket in the World Pool Handicap. Then there was just a head separating the winner Lost Boys from this horse in the London Gold Cup Handicap, although the effort in the Golden Gates Stakes at Royal Ascot was underwhelming.
Decade Of Time is an interesting contender, with Jack Channon training a runner who scored at Windsor in early May before a straightforward win at Nottingham in June. The career best effort at Newmarket suggests a big run is on the cards, with the 9/1 chance finishing runner-up to Heraldry in a handicap over one mile and two furlongs.
