Perfuse runs for Sir Michael Stoute on Day Three of the Glorious Goodwood meeting, with Ryan Moore on board a runner who will have to cope with more weight than several of the other favourites for this race. Travelling over one mile and two furlongs shouldn’t be too much of an ask for a runner who was fifth in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Previously to this, there was a success at Doncaster in early June when winning a Novice Stakes, while there was a previous victory as the 11/10 favourite over one mile and two furlongs on heavy ground. However, some punters might prefer the odds on Isle Of Jura who can land a consecutive hat-trick of wins.
The George Scott-trained runner was able to secure a win at Newmarket at the end of July as the 13/8 favourite when winning over one mile and landing a two length victory, with this coming after a handicap win at Newbury Racecourse and it’s easy to see why punters might consider an each-way wager on this particular horse.
Lucky Fifteen is named after a popular horse racing bet and the three-year-old has scored on three successive occasions.
