Recon is hard to judge considering the four-year-old has only had one outing, with that coming at Flemington in March. A midfield finish in the Hoysted Handicap was achieved at odds of 19/5 and perhaps a better alternative is Tycoon Star who beat Extragalactic by a length in a previous showing.
