2025 Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Betting Tips

Under Control returns to the course after over 200 days away from the track, with the horse last seen obliging at Sandown Park when winning the bet365 Novices' Championship Final Handicap Hurdle. It was a strong performance over two miles on soft ground, with the horse just doing enough to win by half a length.

Previously to this came a victory in the Fillies’ Juvenile Handicap Hurdle, with Brentford Hope also coming into the race off the back of a win. The runner was sent off at a massive 40/1 in the Top Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree last April.

However, Hansard outran these odds to finish in fourth place, with another solid performance coming in the JenningsBet Elite Hurdle at Wincanton Racecourse, with other bigger priced selections also likely to run into the places. Some bookies will offer extra places and that could bring Matterhorn and Our Champ into consideration.
