2025 Sweet Solera Stakes Betting Tips
Dance To The Music has been installed as the market leader for the Sweet Solera Stakes. It was a striking performance in a field of six runners last time out, obliging at odds of 2/1 by a single length. That was over six lengths, although some punters might be looking for a bigger priced alternative and that’s the only time that the horse has ran so far.
Venetian Lace has ran several times this season, landing a victory on the all-weather before two consecutive fourth-placed finishes. The Charlie Johnston-trained runner was sent off at 14/1 in the bet365 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket before running well and this came after a solid showing at Ascot to finish fourth out of nine runners in the Chesham Stakes.
Amora Queen also runs for Johnston and the two-year-old was a solid performer when fending off four other runners at Doncaster. That victory came in the middle of June, with that coming over seven furlongs. Favourite Artanis was beaten by four lengths and she looks the best value to claim the spoils, with price boosts sure to be available.
Bella Lyra hasn’t been out of the front three in the last four showings. Richard Hughes trains a runner who was third out of ten runners at Ascot. This was in the Group Three Princess Margaret Stakes, with that coming after hitting the frame at Newmarket. There had previously been a success at Windsor in June.

A maximum of ten runners will go to post on Saturday in the Sweet Solera Stakes, with Fallen Angel being ridden by Danny Tudhope. The two-year-old was successful at Haydock Park in May when triumphing in a Fillies’ Novice Stakes and then followed this up with a second place in a listed race at Sandown Park.
Wild Goddess could also go well and there was a victory on the July course at Newmarket last time out, with the horse able to triumph over seven furlongs when being sent off as the 11/8 favourite. Soprano could also have claims and has been priced up among the favourites by the horse racing betting sites.
Last time out, the George Boughey-trained runner was able to score third place when finishing behind Fallen Angel at Sandown Park and that came after the same placing in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot. It was a close finish in this Group 3 clash, with the horse likely to have a chance over seven furlongs.
Darnation is another horse with a lively chance and another runner from the K R Burke stable. There was plenty to like about the charge’s victory at Thirsk last time out, with this coming by a distance of ten lengths. Carolina Reaper delivered the goods as the 7/4 favourite in a Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Newmarket towards the end of July.
