The most high-profile race at this race course is probably the Champion of Champions. This is a 440 yard encounter which is open to three-year-olds and upwards. It’s a race that has been in operatation since 1972 and it’s regarded as a champion race for Quarter Horses.

- Remington Park Championship
- Vessels Maturity
- All American Derby
- Mildred Vessels Memorial
- Robert L. Boniface Los Alamitos Invitational Championship
- Los Alamitos Super Derby
- Bank of America Challenge Championship
The 2020 winner was Apollitical Pence and that came after a 2019 success for He Looks Hot. The only horse to have currently won the Champion of Champions on three occasions is Refrigerator.Bet on the Los Alamitos Derby and Los Alamitos Futurity
As with many derby races, the Los Alamitos Derby is a race for three-year-olds and there is a healthy purse up for grabs. Run over nine furlongs, this encounter has been in operation since 1974 when it was invented as the Swap Stakes at Hollywood Park Racetrack.
The Los Alamitos Futurity was inaugurated in 1981 and was originally known as the Hollywood Futurity. Bob Baffert is a legendary trainer who has won no less than 13 winners and this included consecutive victories between 2014 and 2020.
