The Goliath Cup Stakes is a listed race that is run over one mile and six furlongs. The race was inaugurated in 1993 and it's a flat encounter which has held listed status since 2003. A handful of horses have secured a brace of victories in the Goliath Cup Stakes, with Further Flight, Alcazar and Al Qareem having all landed a double in this race. The Queen of Scots Stakes is a shorter distance race over seven furlongs, with the Musselburgh racecards always suggesting a competitive encounter is on the cards. Mares and fillies battle it out and we saw Jabaara land a victory in 2024 and 2025. It was introduced as a listed race in 2017.

There's the William Hill Scottish Sprint Cup which takes place over five furlongs, with this being a class 2 handicap. This description also befits the Royal Mile where a high-class field battle it out for major honours.

The Edinburgh Cup takes place over a mile and four furlongs, with the Queen's Cup being a Class 2 handicap race where the runners and riders battle it out over one mile and six furlongs.
