2025 Buckingham Palace Stakes Betting Tips
The 2025 Buckingham Palace Stakes is the final race in which to back a winner on Day Three of the Royal Ascot meeting. This is a seven furlong encounter, with this being a handicap race. That means going through the runners and riders and determining which horse is the most favourably weighted. There’s usually a big field from which to select.
El Burhan looks a probable entry for this encounter, with the horse having won at Chester last time out. It was a stellar performance from the George Boughey-trained runner who was able to land a victory at the Roodee. The 5/2 favourite performed well over seven and a half furlongs, securing a success by a neck against God Of War.
This was the horse’s seasonal debut after previously performing well at Goodwood back in August. The 11/4 favourite was able to finish third out of sixteen horses on that occasion. In a nursery handicap over seven furlongs, the horse raced well and that came after consecutive wins. These victories came at Yarmouth and Beverley.
English Oak, Witch Hunt and Inver Park are among the recent winners of this race. Kevin Ryan and Richard Hannon are two trainers who have secured two successes in an encounter which has recently been brought back to the Royal Ascot meeting. Although the favourite won the race last year, that was the first time that the market leader had got a success.
2023 Buckingham Palace Handicap Tips
Perotto was down the order when finishing seventh last time out, although the bookies still have the horse as one of the favourites to win the 2023 Buckingham Palace Handicap. The runner was in a competitive heat on that occasion, with the soft ground proving hard work for the horses in the Victoria Cup over seven furlongs.
Biggles was second in that particular race and perhaps the Ralph Beckett-trained charge could be the each-way value for this tussle, with New Endeavour lining up on the all-weather at Kempton Park and obliging as a 2/1 favourite in early June. Previously to this was a fifth placed finish over seven furlongs at York.
Trainer Roger Varian will be bidding for success with one of his many horses in the field, with New Endeavour an interesting competitor who claimed a victory on the all-weather at Kempton Park in a previous outing. The early June success saw the charge claim a win over seven furlongs by the distance of four lengths and there could be more to come.
Age Of Kings was unable to make an impression in his last outing when finishing tenth out of eleven runners in the Irish 2000 Guineas, although that was in esteemed company and the 28/1 shot wasn’t expected to be in contention. This could be a race more to the horse’s liking and we might expect plenty of each-way bets coming for the runner.
