2025 Firth Of Clyde Fillies Stakes Betting Tips
Coming Attraction is bidding for a third consecutive win when lining up in the Firth of Clyde. The latest success came at Chester at the end of August. Sent off as the 7/4 favourite the horse was able to score by nearly two lengths in this six furlong encounter. That came after a June success on the all-weather at Chelmsford and we might see more fireworks here.
Lightning Polka is altogether harder to judge considering that there’s been just one appearance so far. However, the filly performed well for Ed Walker when obliging in a Fillies’ Novices Stakes race at Haydock. Sent off at odds of 7/2, the mare was able to succeed by two lengths and could be capable of another win here.
Orion’s Belt has a number of appearances under her belt and the latest effort was a runner-up performance at Salisbury very recently. That was in the Dick Poole Fillies’ Stakes which was a Group 3 effort, with that representing an improvement on a previous outing at Goodwood. On that occasion, it was a second last result in the Fillies’ Stakes.
Fairy Oak has run four times and one of those outings resulted in a victory, with that success coming at Leopardstown in July. More recently, the Irish raider has enjoyed an outing at the Curragh where the horse was able to finish sixth out of ten in a Juvenile race. Back in June, the horse outperformed her odds of 66/1 when finishing fifth in the Albany Stakes.

Bountiful was fourth out of eleven last time out, with George Boughey hoping that his filly returns to the winners’ enclosure this time around. There was a victory in a small field at Carlisle back in June, with this coming after another success at Thirsk, with the horse potentially the best each-way selection in the race.
Lothlorien claimed a maiden victory and the filly fended off the challenge of nine other rivals at Beverley to win over five furlongs. Kevin Ryan will hope for a repeat victory, while Sky Majesty was able to score on her only outing thus far, with William Haggas training a runner who was successful three weeks ago.
Spirit d’Or was successful in her past two races and Gavin Hernon trains a horse who scored at the Curragh in mid-September over six and a half furlongs. The filly was able to succeed against a field of twenty-one other runners, having landed a success at Moulins in August when beating four rivals.
Star Of Mehmas was able to win back-to-back races in the lead-up to this encounter, with Richard Hughes saddling a runner who has been performing well on the all-weather service. There was a triumph against three other horses at Wolverhampton, with this coming after a success at Lingfield which bodes well for this outing.
