Friday, 09 May 2025

There are a number of horses trading at single figure betting odds when it comes to the Precision Facades Handicap, with the runners and riders competing over one mile, two and a half furlongs. Simon & Ed Crisford train Involvement who makes a seasonal debut after some bright showings last term although there are others carrying less weight.

Stressfree has landed fourth and third-placed finishes this season and could go well again, with Take Heart also trading at a similar price. There are also a clutch of horses hovering around the 8/1 mark including Rathgar, Treasure and Warda Jamila, with Grey Cuban another four-year-old who could be in the reckoning for this race.

Involvement is a four-year-old who has been installed as favourite to win the Facades Handicap. Simon & Ed Crisford will have high hopes for a runner who claimed a victory at Newmarket back in July. That was in the bet365 Handicap and was followed by a smart performance at Deauville, with this now being his seasonal debut.

Stressfree goes for David O’Meara and the horse has finished fourth and third this season. The first of these efforts was in a sixteen-runner affair at Doncaster, with that coming over one mile and two furlongs. There was also a similar effort over the same distance at Epsom, with the horse previously scoring at Musselburgh.

Take Heart was sixth out of sixteen runners at Cork last time out, with this coming on soft ground over one mile, two and a half furlongs. This came after a solid showing in the Irish Lincolnshire where the horse was able to secure ninth place in a huge field of twenty-seven runners. The bookies now think this charge is one of the likely winners here.

Rathgar is trained by Jack Channon and there was a close-run thing last time out when finishing second to City Of Delight at Epsom in April. This came after a solid effort when finishing fifth in a sixteen-runner encounter at Doncaster. Treasure is the best hope for trainer Ralph Beckett and goes in the royal colours.
