2025 Silver Bowl Novices' Chase Betting Tips
Quebecois is the most likely winner of the Silver Bowl Novices' Chase according to the latest odds. Paul Nicholls trains a six-year-old who is the highest-rated horse in the field. The charge was last seen winning at Ayr back in April. Having made all the running, the 4/1 shot was able to oblige by nearly five lengths over a distance of three miles.
Doyen Quest is a year older and has the scope to go well for Dan Skelton. The seven-year-old was sent off as the 8/13 favourite in a recent race at Chepstow. However, the horse could only manage second over two miles, three and a half furlongs. The runner also struggled at Worcester although that was preceded by a double victory at Warwick.
Western Knight is back for a new season and the runner was last seen finishing eighth in the Sefton Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree. It was a decent effort over a long distance, with that coming after unseating his rider at Doncaster back in January. In December, there was a better effort at Cheltenham when finishing second out of six runners.
Tiny Tetley was a serial winner last season and has the ability to go well in this race at Exeter. The seven-year-old won at this track in March before scoring at Taunton and Haydock Park. More recently, there was a second-placed effort at the latter before finishing seventh in a handicap hurdle race at Cheltenham at a big price.
