2023 Irish Mares Novice Hurdle Tips
Ashroe Diamond has not been seen at a race track since the end of January when the horse obliged with a victory at Fairyhouse. She will now return to the Irish racecourse in search of another win and Willie Mullins will surely regard the mare as his best chance of landing a success, with the runner having finished nine lengths behind Facile Vega at Leopardstown over the festive season.
Magical Zoe is her younger adversary and Henry de Bromhead’s runner did little wrong on Day Three of the Cheltenham Festival when finishing second behind You Wear It Well. Jamie Snowden’s charge proved too strong in the end, although the five-year-old runner-up ran a blinder when finishing second and there was a previous success at Down Royal.
Halka Du Tabert runs for Gordon Elliott and claimed third place in the Mares Novices Hurdle, with the horse having finished third to Ashroe Diamond and there was only two and a half lengths separating the two charges in the Solerina Mares Novices Hurdle over two miles, two and a half furlongs, with the horse standing a reasonable chance of success.
Night And Day is a decent runner who was the facile winner of a Maiden Hurdle at Clonmel in mid-January, with Princess Zoe also set to run a big race and this is an Anthony Mullins-trained runner who was fifth at Cheltenham and could represent a decent each-way bet at Fairyhouse.
