The same could be argued for Credo, Docpickedme and Elvis Mail, with the former having landed a victory a month ago and the eight-year-old should have the staying ability to go well, with Docpickedme having also enjoyed a reasonable outing this term. It could be worth picking two or even three runners against the field for this one.

Fontaine Collonges won this race at Haydock Park last season and the same horse has been respected in the market this time around. Venetia Williams will hope for a similar showing this time around, with the horse beating The Big Breakaway before finishing fourth at Kempton Park in another competitive handicap chase.

More recently, the horse has flattered to deceive, with a tenth-placed finish at Haydock Park seeing the runner come well down the order. The same charge was also pulled up at Cheltenham in the Kim Muir Challenge Cup, with plenty of other alternatives available for selection. This includes Credo who could go well for Anthony Honeyball.

The eight-year-old was successful last time out when obliging in a handicap chase at Wincanton Racecourse, with the horse claiming a victory at odds of 3/1 and winning by six and a half lengths. Docpickedme is a seven-year-old which also has solid each-way claims and there was a second-placed finish at Warwick Racecourse last time out.

There are plenty of horses trading at similar odds and that includes Elvis Mail and the nine-year-old has been successful in the past two outings. The horse has solid credentials but much comes down to the weight being carried, with Famous Bridge having landed a couple of victories for trainer Nicky Richards last time out.
