2024 Snowdrop Fillies Stakes Betting Odds at Kempton Park racecourse

Saturday, 06 April 2024

We’re looking forward to some all-weather racing on Saturday including the Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes. Novus could be set to run a big race and the bookies certainly respect the chances of a runner who has been able to win two of his previous three outings. The same applies to Many Tears and Cloud Cover who are also among the favourites.

Some might prefer the chances of Choisya who runs for Simon & Ed Crisford, with Mystic Pearl running for William Haggas. It will be interesting to see which horse is able to triumph over the distance of one mile, with many of the twelve runners in with a lively chance of recording a victory.

2024 Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes Tips

Novus has been shortening for the Virgin Bet Daily Extra Places Snowdrop Fillies' Stakes and Gary Moore trains a runner who goes off 9-7. This is the highest-rated horse in the field and his last outing saw a victory against twelve rivals, with the 9/1 chance able to prosper by two lengths after a previous success at Goodwood.

The latter victory came in early August when the 7/2 favourite was able to prosper by a length on soft ground, with the horse interestingly running second behind Choisya a couple of days previously and the pair are set to battle it out once again. The latter runs for Simon & Ed Crisford and was successful at Kempton Racecourse at the end of November.

The horse ran well on the all-weather surface on that occasion when securing the spoils by a neck when narrowly beating Julia Augusta. This came after finishing second out of eight runners at Newmarket towards the end of October, although that win at Goodwood in early August is definitely one for the notebook.

Many Tears could go well for James Ferguson and the four-year-old has done all his running in Ireland to date, recording two victories in the past three appearances at Dundalk. The latest success came on 10 November when the runner was able to achieve a two-length victory and the horse could be in strong contention again.
