2025 Prix Daniel Wildenstein Betting Odds at Longchamp racecourse

Saturday, 04 October 2025

The Prix Daniel Wildenstein takes place at Longchamp on Saturday and is scheduled to go off at 3.25pm. Alcantor might not have won any of his previous three races, although Andre Fabre trains a charge who won on his seasonal debut and is regarded as the strongest contender. Perhaps Dreamliner should be favourite considering the past three races.

The three-year-old was victorious in all of those outings and is now bidding for a four-timer, with Quddwah a five-year-old who has bagged two wins this season. Also trading at single figure odds is Ridari although we prefer the chances of Skukuza, with the four-year-old had notched a couple of victories this term.

2025 Prix Daniel Wildenstein Betting Tips

Alcantor has run four times this season and followed up a victory with three consecutive fourth-placed finishes. The last effort came at Longchamp when the horse finished fourth out of twelve runners, with the 12/1 shot running well in the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp. This was a Group 1 heat and it came after a previously decent run in the Prix Messidor.

The win came at odds-on in the Saint-Cloud in the Prix Edmond-Blanc on very soft ground and probably wants lots of cut in the ground on Saturday. Perhaps Dreamliner is the one to consider on the basis of the three-year-old’s efforts thus far. There was a victory at Deauville in the Barriere Prix Quincey over a mile at the end of August.

Previously to this, there was a success at Chantilly after being successful at Longchamp a month previously. There’s an older adversary in the form of Quddwah who could go well, with the horse having landed a couple of victories this term. Simon & Ed Crisford train a runner who was last seen achieving a midfield finish at Longchamp.

That came after a July success at Chantilly, with the horse finishing ahead of Alcantor in the Prix Messidor. The runner had previously delivered a flat performance in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot although Ridari is also worthy of consideration. The same applies to Skukuza who achieved consecutive wins at the Curragh earlier this year.
