There are lots of lively contenders for the Betway Handicap, with many of the nineteen runners having a chance of hitting the frame in this six furlong showdown. Thunder Call began a campaign with a victory on the all-weather before following this up with a victory. Red Spells Danger has also landed two wins but was runner-up last time out.

Man Of Vision was a lowly ninth last time out after an impressive showing as runner-up, with Ten Carat Harry having strong claims for Jamie Osborne. Calico Blue is probably Roger Varian’s best chance of success, with Sea Cookie having claimed consecutive successes and the same applies to Jazl who could be a decent each-way contender.

Betway Handicap Betting Tips

Thunder Call has done everything right this season and we’re happy to back the horse to land a third successive win. William Haggas trains a runner who was firstly able to oblige on the all-weather at Kempton Park in early May. The 6/5 favourite won by a considerable six lengths before a showdown at York Racecourse where a big field lined up.

In a sprint handicap, the horse was sent off at betting odds of 4/1 where the horse was always in touch with the leaders. He was able to keep on well towards the end of the encounter, with the biggest danger potentially coming from Red Spells Danger. Tim Easterby’s charge can’t be discounted considering it’s been five consecutive top two spots.

There was an early May success at Ripon which was hardly a surprise as the odds-on favourite, with that coming before a mid-May success where a winning margin of four lengths was enjoyed. There was also a bold showing at York when the 7/2 favourite was narrowly touched off by Thunder Calls in that sprint handicap.

Man Of Vision is the Godolphin horse who is trading at a backable each-way price, with the horse finishing the previous campaign with a success on the all-weather. In early May, the charge returned to the track at Newmarket to finish as the runner-up. Then came a ninth placed effort in the same race at York as the two race favourites.
