2025 Florida Pearl Novice Chase Betting Odds at Punchestown racecourse

Saturday, 22 November 2025

There could be as many as twelve runners lining up for the Newton Novices’ Hurdle on Saturday, with plenty of horses in with a chance of landing a success. Half the field are trading at single figure betting odds, with Masked Man having landed a couple of early wins. Sticktotheplan also has to be respected considering he’s landed three wins in the past four.

Hamlet’s Night has made a habit of either finishing first or second in his races, with Doctor Blue looking backable from an each-way point-of-view. Idaho Sun was able to win on a seasonal debut, with Harry Fry’s charge having an impressive hit rate. Double Measure has to stand a chance and Dan Skelton is in great form with his horses right now.

2025 Newton Novices’ Hurdle Betting Tips

Punters at Haydock will be looking to make a winning start on the racecard when they wager on the Newton Novices’ Hurdle. Masked Man began with a victory on the all-weather before a more recent success. The Twiston-Davies’ were pleased with an effort at Chepstow where the 7/4 favourite was able to land an impressive twelve-length success.

However, Sticktotheplan has claimed three wins in the previous four encounters. Olly Murphy trains a five-year-old who has a stack of experience, with the latest victory coming at Chepstow in October. That was a four length success and came after a previous July triumph at Galway, with the horse landing a May victory at Listowel.

Hamlet’s Night can’t be easily discounted and there’s been a string of ones and twos in the form guide. James Owen’s four-year-old was able to secure the spoils at Stratford in early September and that came before another success at Warwick. The horse then ran well at Cheltenham when losing by a neck in a hurdle race against a strong odds-on favourite.

Idaho Sun has some of the strongest form and the latest effort was a success at Fontwell Racecourse. Sent off as the 4/9 favourite, the horse was able to oblige by three and a half lengths. Back in March, there was a solid effort at the Cheltenham Festival in the Wetherby’s Champion Bumper where the horse struck to land sixth in a flat encounter.
