2026 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle Betting Tips
There are nine horses expected to line up in the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle and the majority of the field have a reasonable chance of landing a success. Sober is the market leader and the Willie Mullins-trained runner was able to win at the Royal Ascot meeting in June. In the Queen Alexandra Stakes, the 4/5 favourite won over two miles, five and a half furlongs.
Sons And Lovers is a younger adversary who has the scope to run well for Joseph O'Brien. The five-year-old has not had an outing since September when a third-placed effort was managed at Leopardstown. That was in the Group 3 Group Stakes where the 11/1 poke ran well over one mile and four furlongs on yielding ground.
Free Spirit is another horse that could potentially give Willie Mullins a victory. There's not a great deal of form upon which to feed, with the horse having impressed at Auteuil in October 2024 when finishing second in a big field. Theflyingking has more form upon which to feed and the Gordon Elliott-trained charge was second out of seven horses at Navan.
That came after a fall at Down Royal at the end of October, with Road Exile another Elliott runner who has to be taken into consideration. The six-year-old was impressive when scoring at Navan in early December, with the victory coming over two miles where twenty-five other horses were seen off. That was after a decent showing at Down Royal in early November.
2025 Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle Tips
Willie Mullins has a strong hand when it comes to the Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle, including favourite Salvator Mundi. The five-year-old produced a fine performance to triumph at Tipperary in the middle of May and the victory was achieved by an astonishing sixty-two lengths. Previously to this came a sixth-placed finish in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham.
However, there could be plenty more to come from Kel Histoire, with Mullins having seen his charge record successive wins in a short career to date. There was a victory in France in November 2023 and that was followed by a success in Cork last month. In the Mallow Maiden Hurdle, the horse was able to oblige as the 4/5 favourite.
Sporting Glory has plenty of experience and the Gordon Elliott-trained runner was able to score last time out. The nine-year-old obliged at Galway towards the end of October when achieving a six-length victory when fending off thirteen other horses. Previously to that, there had been three successive races at Fairyhouse including a victory.
Sky Lord and Ballygunner Castle are also trading at single figure prices. The former was a winner for Henry de Bromhead last time out, with the six-year-old beating nineteen other runners in a competitive maiden hurdle. The latter was able to oblige with two wins this term and is another Mullins-trained runner with the potential to go well.
