2026 The 1351 Turf Sprint Betting Odds at Riyadh racecourse

Saturday, 14 February 2026

The 1351 Turf Sprint takes pride of place on the Dubai Cup racecard, with Panja Tower the horse that merits the most respect from the Saudi Arabia horse racing betting sites. The runner has shown flashes of brilliance this term, with the Japanese raider having landed some notable successes as a four-year-old thus far.

However, the betting market is wide open and Marvelman is an interesting contender who hasn't done a lot wrong in a short career to date. There was a bright win at Doncaster last autumn before struggling in more esteemed company at Ascot. Reef Runner has also got solid credentials and Annaf is operating at similar odds.

2026 1351 Turf Sprint Betting Tips

Panja Tower has already landed some notable wins in his short career to date. He flies the flag for Japan in the 1351 Turf Sprint and could be the one to beat in this big money race. Back in May, there was a Grade One success over a mile in the NHK Mile Cup, with the horse providing a shock victory at big odds of 25/1.

The horse returned to the track in August and was able to land another notable success at Sapporo. In the Grade 3 Keeneland Cup, the horse was afforded more respect by the layers before scoring at odds of 9/2. That came over six furlongs, with the latest effort seeing the horse finishing fifth in the Golden Eagle at Randwick Racecourse, so the omens are good here.

Marvelman can't be easily discounted after some notable efforts leading into this race in Riyadh. The Andrew Balding-trained four-year-old was able to produce a stunning victory at Doncaster back in September. In the Group Two Betfred Park Stakes, the charge obliged on soft ground over seven furlongs to win by a convincing distance.

That came after finishing third in the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury Racecourse in August, although the horse's recent effort saw him fall short. Perhaps it should have been no surprise that the runner was found wanting in the highly competitive Queen Elizabeth II Stakes based on the calibre of the field and the horse could have strong claims here.

1351 Turf Cup Sprint 2024 Tips

Mysterious Night has been able to secure back-to-back victories at Meydan Racecourse in the past few weeks and this has led the bookies to installing the four-year-old as favourite to land a victory in the 1351 Turf Cup Sprint. William Buick is likely to be on board a runner who beat fourteen other runners in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

This was a four length victory from a horse sent off at odds of 7/2, with the horse then competing over seven furlongs on good ground, with the 11/10 favourite triumphing in the Al Fahidi Fort race. It’s easy to see why the Godolphin charge has been installed as market leader although there are plenty of other contenders who can go well.

Perhaps Aguri can make a big impression and the Japanese-trained horse is expected to go well for trainer Takayuki Yasuda, with the runner last seen finishing second in an eighteen-runner field in Kyoto. Sent off as the 19/10 favourite, Aguri found one horse too strong in the form of Lugal, although the bookies respect his chances when it comes to this Dubai race.

There’s another Japanese contender in the form of Bathrat Leon who was disappointing when running in Kyoto last November, although this runner has the credentials to perform a lot better when it comes to this Group 3 encounter. There was a third-placed finish in South Korea back in September when running in the Korea Sprint.

1351 Turf Sprint Betting Tips

Creative Force is the horse racing betting favourite to win the 1351 Turf Sprint, with the runner last seen running at the Breeders’ Cup meeting. The Godolphin horse looks to have the right sort of profile to land a victory in this race, having finished third in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint. There was also a notable performance in 2021 when winning the British Champions Sprint at Ascot.

Songline was able to triumph in this race twelve months ago, with the five-year-old more than capable of retaining his crown. A year ago, Christophe-Patrice Lemaire was able to steer the runner to a success by a neck ahead of Casa Creed, while it’s interesting to note that Happy Romance was also close behind and will line up for the 2023 heat.

Similarly, Lauda Sion will return for another crack of the whip and this Japanese raider was a high-level performer at 20/1 twelve months ago. Takashi Saito’s charge is trading at a shorter price this time around, although Bathrat Leon is certainly our idea of an each-way bet and that is especially if you can secure extra places on this horse race.

The five-year-old finished fourth in the Hanshin Cup on 24 December, with the horse sent off at 48/10 on that occasion. The horses all landed in a heap over seven furlongs at Hanshin and perhaps we will see more from a runner that finished third in the Tokyo Chunichi Sports Hai Musashino Stakes over one mile, with the runners and riders set to battle it out.
