There’s more top quality action at Sandown Park in April when the runners and riders compete in the bet365 Novices' Championship Final Handicap Hurdle. Fingle Bridge has put together a succession of bright performances and Olly Murphy will hope his seven-year-old can start producing the goods. However, it looks like a wide open encounter.

Serious Challenge has recorded a hat-trick of successes and Fergal O’Brien has trained a runner who could be a decent each-way contender. Kientzheim is another five-year-old who has been successful and Nicky Henderson has a powerful horse who should have stamina. Nardaran can also go well at odds of around 10/1.

Fingle Bridge has recorded a spate of impressive wins and the seven-year-old heads the betting market for the bet365 Novices' Championship Final Handicap Hurdle. Olly Murphy trains a runner who was last seen winning at Exeter in February, with the horse landing a success against five others. This came after bright successes at Market Rasen and Uttoxeter.

Serious Challenge has been able to record a successive hat-trick of wins, with the five-year-old able to land a victory at Southwell in the middle of April. That came after a victory at Ayr in February, with the 7/2 runner able to oblige over two miles on heavy ground. This was preceded by a success at Plumpton at the beginning of the year.

Kientzheim was able to open the season with a win and this came on Boxing Day at Kempton Park, with this coming before a third placed finish out of five runners at Newbury. More recently, the horse was second last at Southwell when sent off as the odds-on favourite and Nicky Henderson will have high hopes that the horse will bounce back.

Nardaran is a talented four-year-old who was able to prove successful for Paul Nicholls last time out. This win came at Taunton in April, with an eleven-length success coming for the 9/4 chance. This was an improvement after finishing sixth out of ten runners at Musselburgh at the beginning of February, with the previous run at Kempton Park.
