There’s a battle for favouritism at the head of the market for the Rising Stars Novices' Chase, with Handstands having racked up a series of victories in his career. Knappers Hill is the horse that boasts the strongest credentials when it comes to the Boodles 'Rising Stars' Novices' Chase and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the seven-year-old claim a victory in this Grade Two encounter. The Paul Nicholls-trained runner might have needed the run in a recent Novices’ Chase at Chepstow when finishing second out of four horses.

Last April, there was plenty to like about the horse’s performance in the bet365 Select Hurdle at Sandown Park, with the runner able to edge out Goshen and Theatre Glory over two miles, five and a half furlongs.
