Crystal Island looks to be a talented five-year-old who hasn't made any mistakes during his National Hunt career thus far. Back in April, the horse was sent off as the even money favourite at Ffos Las and it was a notable victory over two miles and four furlongs. It came after previously scoring for Nicky Henderson at Ascot back in December.
Over two miles, five and a half furlongs, there was a striking effort in the Howden Maiden Hurdle where the horse demonstrated some excellent staying power.
