We can never ignore strong form when it comes to the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Gimcrack Stakes. That leads us to wager on Arapaho Gold who has won three times in a short career already. Sent off as the 5/6 favourite, the horse was able to see off two other rivals to win the Kingdom of Bahrain July Stakes, illustrating a propensity to run well in Grade Two company.
Man’s Best Friend produced a strong debut effort to finish fourth in a field of twelve runners at the Curragh, with the horse then scoring at Naas in July. It was impressive to see off seventeen others to oblige by over two lengths. Then came a Goodwood success in the Markel Richmond Stakes where the horse did well after an awkward start to the race.
