2023 Knights Solicitors Handicap Tips
Nobel flattered to deceive last year when finishing dead last in the James Seymour Stakes on 29 October, although Andrew Balding had previously seen his horse claim the spoils at Epsom and Kempton. The former victory was in a Novice Stakes over one mile and two furlongs, with the 6/4 favourite beating Dukeman by nearly three lengths.
There could be more to come from Eeetee and the five-year-old was successful in the Giants Hall Handicap on 29 April at Haydock Park. The horse was able to oblige over one mile and two furlongs, with David O’Meara’s charge having bounced back after a couple of disappointing performances on the all-weather.
Spirit Dancer runs for Richard Fahey, with the six-year-old having the advantage of running three times at York already. The horse finished second in the Sky Bet Finale Handicap over one mile, two and a half furlongs, while there was previously a victory in the Gallop Racing Handicap where the runner was able to achieve a win by two lengths.
Stay Well also has experience of running at the Knavesmire, with the horse running a disappointing race when finishing last of five horses after previously performing well in the Dubai Duty Free Handicap at Newbury. The fifth-placed finish suggests that the runner can be competitive and there was also a midfield performance in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes.
