Bet on the Takamatsunomiya Kinen and Champions Cup
There are Chukyo Racecourse tips that are available for racing throughout the season. There's quality Japanese racing and our experts will give you advice based on the betting trends. The Takamatsunomiya Kinen takes place every March and this is a turf contest over 1,200 metres. This encounter is open to horses aged four or older. This race has Grade One status and forms one of the legs of the Global Sprint Challenge Series. Many Japanese racing fans like to bet on Chukyo Racecourse despite the fact that Hanshin, Kyoto, Nakayama and Tokyo also hold prestigious races. The above race is the only JRA Grade I encounter that doesn't happen at the above quartet of tracks. There are trial races that feed into it, including the Hankyu Hai and Ocean Stakes.
The Champions Cup takes place in December, with Chukyo Racecourse betting odds available for this prestigious encounter. It's held on a dirt track over 1,800 metres and it was originally run in 2000 as the Japan Cup Dirt. This always commands a large purse and there are trial races such as the Miyako Stakes and Musashino Stakes.
Lemon Pop was the winner of this race in 2023 and 2024. This was the third time that a horse had scored a double, following the success of Kane Hekili in 2005 and then 2008. Transcend was also able to register a win in 2010 and 2011, with Katsuhiko Sumii having been the most successful trainer with three victories.
