Bet on the Cape Metropolitan Stakes at Kenilworth Racecourse

The Cape Metropolitan Stakes takes place at Kenilworth Racecourse and this has been in operation since 1883, with this race being run over 2,000 metres. There is a purse of R5 Million, with the runners competing around a left-handed track and it’s an exciting battle on the turf.

The race is also known as the Sun Met and there’s the chance to bet on Sun Met horse racing odds, with the prices always available in the days leading up to the race. The Sun Met is regarded as one of the three prominent South African horse races along with the Vodacom Durban July and Summer Cup.
