It’s fantastic to have the option to bet on South African horse racing and one of the biggest race tracks in this country is Vaal Racecourse. The Vaal race track is situated in the heart of the Vaal Triangle, with Vanderbijlpark and Vereeniging both in close proximity of the racetrack.

The circumference of Vaal Racecourse is around 3,000 metres and this includes a long 1,600 metre straight where we often see several high-profile races played out to an exciting conclusion.

Bet on the Heritage Cup and the August Stakes at Vaal Racecourse

The Heritage Cup is hosted by Vaal Racecourse and the leading horse races tend to take place during September. There are an enormous number of high-profile South African horse races and there is also the chance to place wagers on The Grand Heritage and Heritage Consolation Handicap.

There is also the Heritage 1200 Handicap and the Heritage 1200 F & M Handicap. The latter is available for fillies and mares, while there is a Sophomore 1000 which is for three year olds and it’s run over a distance of 1,000 metres.

Vaal Racecourse is versatile in the sense that there is a turf and a dirt track so there are a number of horse racing meetings that take place and the sand track is 2800 metres, with this oval track hosting a number of races.
