2025 Wolferton Stakes Betting Tips
There’s been a steady stream of money for Enfjaar in the past few days. Many Royal Ascot punters will be looking to side with this horse when it comes to the Wolferton Stakes. The five-year-old is trained by Roger Varian and was fifth out of seven horses at Sandown last time out. However, that was in the competitive Brigadier Gerard Stakes.
Previously to that, there was a smart effort when finishing second in the Doonside Cup Stakes, with Haatem one of the best four-year-olds in the race. Richard Hannon saddles a horse who was fourth at Longchamp last time out. The 11/10 favourite was slightly disappointing in the Prix de Montretrout over one mile on soft ground.
We can hark back twelve months where Haatem was a winner at Royal Ascot when triumphing in the Jersey Stakes. That was a Group 3 encounter although Running Lion could also be a strong contender. The five-year-old was second out of seven runners at Haydock Park, with her performance fairly strong over one mile, two and half furlongs.
Liberty Lane was a winner in a previous encounter. The five-year-old produced an excellent performance at Goodwood last time out. The horse was able to score over one mile and two furlongs, with the runner winning by a slender margin. Military Order has also been in the winners’ enclosure this term and could be capable of a bold run here.
