2025 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint Betting Tips
Ag Bullet has enjoyed consecutive wins in the lead-up to this Breeders’ Cup race, with the five-year-old having several of the necessary attributes to land a victory in the Turf Sprint. We have already seen the Richard Baltas-trained charge claim the spoils at Kentucky Downs, with that late August win coming in the Ladies Turf Sprint Stakes over six and a half furlongs.
That came after a Saratoga triumph in June, with that success coming in the Grade 1 Jaipur Stakes. That was a two length success over five and a half furlongs, although Motorious could be a good alternative based on recent efforts. Trained by Philip D’Amato, the seven-year-old was able to score at Del Mar at the end of August.
The 9/5 favourite was a smart winner and that came after a June triumph in the Grade Three Daytona Stakes. The 9/10 favourite was able to oblige by just over a length, with the horse winning at Santa Anita back in December. There was also a second placed finish in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint a year ago.
Arizona Blaze is one of the younger adversaries in the race, with the Adrian Murray-trained charge having won two of his most recent three outings. The latest effort came at the Curragh when scoring over five furlongs in the Flying Five Stakes, with that coming after an underwhelming effort at York in the Nunthorpe Stakes.
