2025 Premier Handicap Hurdle Betting Tips
Slurricane is one of the younger adversaries to line up in the Premier Handicap Hurdle, with the horse having enjoyed an October success at Galway. The runner certainly acts well on testing ground considering that it was heavy going at the Irish track, with that coming before a third-placed finish out of ten runners at Fairyhouse.
Staffordshire Knot has racked up a couple of wins this term and Gordon Elliott saddles a Gigginstown horse who has bags of experience as a seven-year-old. There was an early December success at Clonmel, with that being a ten-length success over two miles and six furlongs on heavy ground. This came after a three-mile win at Punchestown.
Zillow has enjoyed consecutive victories and Willie Mullins will be confident that the horse can be in the frame once again. The five-year-old actually has enjoyed three wins on the bounce, with victories at Kilbeggan, Dundalk and Fairyhouse all seeing impressive performances. Perhaps this is a good each-way betting selection.
Son Of Anarchy is a six-year-old who has enjoyed three outings this term and the latest one resulted in a success. Gordon Elliott's charge was able to fend off twelve other rivals at Punchestown at the end of November, with there being a previously smart effort at the same track last summer. In between, we saw the runner hit the frame when fourth out of sixteen at Galway.
2024 Leopardstown Premier Handicap Tips
Kala Conti is a four-year-old with bags of ability and perhaps the Gordon Elliott-trained runner can land a victory at Leopardstown on Sunday 29 December. There was a second-placed finish at Fairyhouse last time out and that came after a notable success at Down Royal at the beginning of November where seventeen other runners were beaten.
The Busy Fool is another horse to consider, with the PJ Rothwell-trained charge having won the two previous encounters. The six-year-old was able to score back to back successes and the latest victory came at Naas on 10 November, with that coming after an April triumph at Tipperary, with more likely to come from this runner.
Sa Fureur has produced some strong performances this term, with the seven-year-old having landed a solid victory last time out. This came against eighteen other runners at Navan where the 9/4 favourite was able to win by nearly four lengths. There was previously a fine performance at the same course when landing second spot.
Slane Hill managed to get things right last time out, with Barry Connell training a seven-year-old who was an impressive winner at Navan in November. Over two miles and four furlongs, there was a nine-length success and there has been money for the horse who could represent a value each-way wager.
