2023 Churchill Stakes Tips
Regal Reality has turned in some bright performances this season and the eight-year-old has been installed as favourite to win Saturday’s Churchill Stakes. Towards the end of September, the Sir Michael Stoute-trained runner was able to finish second in the Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Joel Stakes at racing odds of 16/1 and only narrowly behind Mutasaabeq.
This came after finishing third in the Superior Mile Stakes at Haydock a few weeks previously although the bookmakers think it’s a wide open encounter. At the age of four, Blue Trail has the ability to come on leaps and bounds, with the horse finishing fifth out of seven in the competitive Earl Of Sefton Stakes in the middle of April.
That was after a victory at Meydan back in February where the horse was able to win the Palm Jumeirah over one mile and two furlongs, with an eleven-length win really cementing the runner’s credentials. Foxes Tales is another one to watch and the five-year-old returns to the track after finishing tenth in the competitive Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Forest Of Dean has run plenty of times on the all-weather during his career and was able to score at Newcastle Racecourse at the start of the year. Since then, there have been outings at Lingfield and Newcastle although more improvement is needed to feature here. Sir Busker is the other runner trading at single figure odds.
