2025 William Hill Oaks Trial Fillies' Stakes Betting Tips
Giselle has got the credentials to run a big race in the William Hill Oaks Trial Fillies' Stakes, with the horse being sent off as the 10/11 favourite at Leopardstown last time out. However, the runner was only able to finish third on that occasion, with that coming after a victory at the same track at the beginning of October.
There was everything to like about that maiden win over seven furlongs, although Giselle wasn’t able to take to the soft ground in the ensuing performance and perhaps it could be worth opposing the market leader. Go Go Boots has genuine claims too, with John & Thady Gosden saddling a runner who has achieved consecutive successes.
In early December, there was a triumph on the all-weather at Lingfield Park and more recently, the horse returned to the same track to land a three-length success at the end of April. However, there was no surprise to find the runner landing a victory and we can’t be sure that the horse will be able to live with the pace here.
Revoir landed a win as a two-year-old when obliging at Nottingham in the middle of October, with Music Piece a more experienced operator and there was a third-placed finish at Sandown at the end of April. That came after a success at Haydock where the 13/8 shot was able to oblige by the distance of half a length.

Be Happy was third at Saint-Cloud on 1 April when last running, with this French encounter seeing the three-year-old finishing behind favourite Pensee Du Jour and Sea Of Roses. Having been sent off at 6/1, it was a solid performance and the ride from Ryan Moore is likely to be repeated for this latest encounter which could see the horse go close.
Sea Of Roses was able to finish ahead of Be Happy in that Saint-Cloud encounter, with the horse having previously won the Maiden Fillies’ Stakes over one mile at Doncaster, with Bright Diamond having finished third on successive occasions after winning the race before that at Newmarket in July, with the horse having run in esteemed company.
The third-placed finish at Newmarket in her most recent race, with the horse running really well over one mile in the bet365 Fillies’ Mile, with this taking place over one mile on good ground. There was also a place in the frame in the William Hill Prestige Fillies’ Stakes and Clifford Lee gave the horse a tremendous spin on that occasion.
Eternal Hope lines up in the familiar Godolphin colours and the three-year-old will have been tilted at this race by trainer Charlie Appleby, with the horse last winning on the all-weather track at Chelmsford. Previously to this was a third-placed finish at Wolverhampton although a lack of experience could be telling here.
