2025 Prix Vermeille Betting Odds at Longchamp racecourse

Sunday, 07 September 2025

Sweet Lady, Warm Heart and Bluestocking are some of the recent winners of the Prix Vermeille, with the 2025 renewal likely to be a hot race on Sunday. Aventure has produced some highly encouraging performances this term and the French horse has already landed a number of notable victories this season which bodes well.

Gezora is trading at a similar price, with wins at Longchamp and Chantilly having come already this term. There might be other horses in the final shake-up, with Survie and Bedtime Story runners who could be good each-way value in the race. We’re likely to see a small field for this one and a half mile encounter.

2025 Prix Vermeille Betting Tips

Aventure is a quality operator and perhaps she holds the key to success in the Prix Vermeille. The filly was last seen running at Saint-Cloud at the end of June when finishing three and a half lengths behind favourite Calandagan in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, keeping on well when running over one mile and four furlongs.

Previously to this, there were consecutive wins at Longchamp and Saint-Cloud. On both occasions, the horse was sent off as the odds-on favourite, with the first success being an April triumph over one mile and two furlongs. There was a similar type of success over a slightly further distance and this horse might set the benchmark.

Gezora is bidding to land a third consecutive victory. The Graffard-trained charge was able to score in a quality race at Chantilly, with that success coming in the Prix de Diane Longines. Sent off at odds of 11/2, there was a class performance over one mile, two and a half furlongs. That was a one length success and explains why the horse is among the favourites.

There was a May win at Longchamp in the Auguste Rodin Coolmore Prix Saint-Alary. This was a Group 2 success over one mile and two furlongs. Beating favourite Audubon Park was no mean feat and there could be another strong effort here. Survie might be the one to give the favourites the biggest challenger.
