Silver Knott was able to pick up a valuable win on his seasonal debut, with the five-year-old claiming a victory at Meydan at the beginning of March. This came after running in esteemed company at Belmont and Saratoga.
Ambiente Friendly was able to finish fourth this season when running in a five-runner encounter at Newmarket. This was in mid-April and came after the horse finished dead last at Longchamp in the Qatar Prix Niel. However, we should reflect that the runner was second in the Epsom Derby last year and clearly has good pedigree.
Space Legend returns to the track after a long lay-off and William Haggas trains a runner who achieved consecutive fourth-placed finishes last time out. The previous outing came at York in a competitive encounter, and that was after finishing dead last at Newmarket. However, there was a bright showing at Ascot when finishing second in the King Edward VII Stakes.
Bellum Justum was fifth last time out, with Andrew Balding training a horse that performed well in the Surprise Stakes. However, the real star performance of his career came at Kentucky Downs at the end of August. In the Derby Invitational Stakes, the horse was able to claim the spoils by over two lengths.

King Of Conquest is a five-year-old who has a lively each-way chance, with this being one of two Godolphin horses who could run a big race. The fact that William Buick has chosen to ride this charge suggests he has the best chance of the Charlie Appleby-trained runners, with the horse finishing fourth out of ten runners in Bahrain last time out.
Castle Way was also fourth in his previous showing, with this coming out of nine runners at Meydan where the horse performed reasonably well in a competitive heat. This came after a second-placed finish at York, with the last victory being on the July course at Newmarket where the runner was able to fend off five other rivals.
