2023 Oak Tree Stakes Tips
Fast Response could go really well over seven furlongs, with K R Burke training a talented runner who has turned in some impressive performances this season without landing a victory. The horse was runner-up at Chester in mid-July when the runner was beaten by less than a length and the four-year-old might have suffered when being squeezed out of the reckoning.
Jumbly has run well on both outings this season, with the horse finishing second in the Lanwades Stud Stakes over one mile and the four-year-old was edged out by Just Beautiful. The runner was then sent off as the 10/3 co-favourite in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes when finishing fourth over one mile on good ground.
Matilda Picotte has failed to win a race this season although she was strong when finishing fourth in a recent clash at Haydock Park in a race which was won in convincing fashion by Little Big Bear. She was an impressive performer previously when finishing third in the Epsom Oaks when being sent off at larger betting odds of 33/1.
White Moonlight comes into the race bidding to land a consecutive hat-trick, with the Saeed bin Suroor-trained runner having scored at Musselburgh and Chelmsford, the latter of which came on the all-weather. Over seven furlongs, the runner was able to score for jockey Kieran Shoemark and the six-year-old could be capable of landing the spoils.
