2023 Future Stars NH Flat Race Betting Odds at Leopardstown racecourse

We’re used to seeing the name of Willie Mullins next to a runner although brother Thomas Mullins could be the one in the winners’ enclosure after this race. The Irishman has Fascile Mode lining up and the horse was impressive on his only outing this season, with the best horse racing betting sites making him favourite to win this Flat race at Leopardstown.

However, Willie has a number of runners in his corner and that includes Chosen Witness and Westport Cove, while Gordon Elliott can include Better Days Ahead as his potential winners at this meeting. Watch out for where the money is going considering we don’t have a huge amount of form to feed off.

It’s mainly five-year-old runners who will be lining up in this Future Stars I.N.H. Flat Race, with the Grade 2 encounter over two miles potentially unearthing some future winners of the big races in Ireland and England. Fascile Mode ran at Leopardstown on 29 December and there was plenty to like about a run which saw him claim a three length win at odds of 16/1.

The competition will be a good deal fiercer here and Better Days Ahead has a bit more experience, with the horse winning a Flat race at Fairyhouse in early December. Gordon Elliott saw his charge claim a surprise win over favourite Chapeau De Soleil and his career began last season when winning a geldings maiden race at Lisronagh.

Chosen Witness runs for the better-known Mullins and has done nothing wrong in two outings, with the horse claiming a ten-length win over two miles and two furlongs at Limerick Racecourse. That was on heavy ground and perhaps this is the horse to back from an each-way point of view considering that his stamina should be ideal.

Westport Cove also runs for Willie Mullins and the five-year-old won at Fairyhouse last month which suggests a decent outing is on the cards. With a bumper race, it’s hard to match up the respective form of each runner, although Pour Les Filles has also recorded two wins for trainer Gordon Elliott and could be in the shake-up.
