Mares Novice Hurdle that take place in March.

There are also some great festive Limerick racecards, with fans having the chance to wager on the Faugheen Novice Chase and Dorans Pride Novice Hurdle. Enjoy the Grade One Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick Racecourse

There are always Limerick racecards which can be accessed and that includes St Stephen's Day. This meeting is probably the most high-profile at the Irish course, with the Faugheen Novice Chase having Grade One status. It's run over two miles, three and a half furlongs, with this being part of the well-attended Christmas Festival that occurs at Limerick.

The race is named after legendary Willie Mullins-trained Faugheen who claimed a victory in the 2019 race at the age of 11. Other high-profile winners have included Sir Des Champs, Gerri Colombe and Gaelic Warrior. Mullins has previously had an excellent strike rate in this encounter and he has amassed a double-figure tally of victors.
