A County Cork track at Mallow.

Cork Racecourse Mallow is where you can bet on Flat and National Hunt racing. It's a right-handed track and was originally opened in 1924. There are only two courses in Ireland which have a seven furlong straight and Cork is one of them. You can bet on Cork by visiting Racing-Odds.com and going through the racecard. We will provide information for each race so you can read the form. We publish weights information for the handicaps and you can also discover the trainer and jockey data which will help to inform your pick.

There are a number of notable races at Cork Racecourse throughout the year. In April, there's the Imperial Call Chase which is one of several Grade 3 encounters that litter the schedule. There's also a Grade 2 heat in the form of the Hilly Way Chase and we'll provide Cork betting tips for all of the big races.

Bet on the Big National Hunt Races at Cork

There's a lot of Cork races on offer to betting customers, including the National Hunt encounters. We're a big fan of the Imperial Call Chase which is a Grade 3 encounter over three miles. This is also known as the Bar One Racing Chase which was first run in 2000 and it achieved Grade 3 status twelve years later. Willie Mullins has landed several winners including Melon, Bachasson and Asterion Forlonge. There are also some great National Hunt encounters in November and December. The Cork E.B.F. Novice Hurdle and Cork E.B.F. Novice Chase take place on the same Cork racecard and the former is a Grade 3 encounter over three miles. The latter is a two mile four furlong heat, with Limestone Lad and Alpha Des Obeaux among some of the winners.

In December, there are Grade 3 encounters such as the Lombardstown Mares Novice Chase and Cork Stayers Novice Hurdle. The former has seen crack trainer Willie Mullins saddle winners such as Vroum Vroum Mag, Elimay and Concertista. The latter was first run in 1998 and it was able to achieve graded status five years later.

We also have a Grade 2 heat where you can bet on Cork, with the Hilly Way Chase taking place over two miles. This status was attained in 2003 and we've seen two horses land three victories apiece. The first of these to achieve this was Golden Silver who recorded three successive wins between 2009 and 2011. Then Energumene was able to achieve the same between 2021 and 2024.

Bet on Flat Racing at Cork Including Munster Oaks

We're also able to provide Cork tips for encounters which take place on the Flat course in Ireland. The Munster Oaks is a June race where the runners and riders compete over a mile and four furlongs. Originally called the Noblesse Stakes, we've seen Grace O'Malley and Rosscarbery claim two successes apiece along the way.

In August, there are two other notable Flat encounters including the Platinum Stakes and the Give Thanks Stakes. The latter was inaugurated in 2003 and has held Group 3 status since 2007.
